How can we get the Gas Prices Feature activated for the U.A.E.? I know that the Gas prices are fixed here but this will help many wazer’s find the type of fuel they are looking for. for example Super 98 is not available in all Gas stations.
I’m currently in contact with waze to get the gas prices feature activated on the client and have the gas stations brands and fuel types added. I’ll keep you updated here on what happens.
The gas stations brands have been added to the WME. When you edit or create a new gas station you can choose the brand. ADNOC, EPPCO, ENOC and Emarat. The feature is yet to be activated on the client. I have edited some gas stations in abu dhabi and alain for testing. Once the feature is activated on the client ill work on the rest of them. I’ll keep you updated on any changes.
This is good progress! I have also edited some in and around Abu Dhabi ![]()
That’s great. Waze is currently confirming the correct no. Of total gas stations in the uae. Once that’s done they will activate the feature on the client.
Great! I only use EPPCO. For some reason I seem to more milage compared to other stations when filling up from E->F …
I have just been contacted by Waze regarding the Gas Prices Feature. and they said they will activate it soon. the fuel types that will be available in the client are Super 98, Special 95, Eplus 91 and Diesel. I have included the octane rating in the name because it will be helpful to visitors and tourists who are not familiar with the fuel types in the U.A.E.
Expect to find the feature in the client soon.

Glad to help
Sorry for the late update. The gas prices feature has been active for a while now just over a week. Its very easy to use. But we need to put the prices in the system for it to work efficiently. In the settings you can choose your favourite brand and fuel type. And it will search based on that. One more thing please everyone put the actual prices in the system if a fuel type is not available then leave it empty. In the report menu the is a gas prices button which you use to update the prices but will only work if you are very close to the gas station. I think thats all for now. Ill post a more detailed explanation soon as im using my phone right now.

Ok i have noticed that almost everyone have been using the feature correctly as its very straightforward so maybe no need for an explanation
Do we even need this feature? I’d understand for a country where petrol prices are expensive and people look where they can save, but lets face it, petrol is cheap here and most stations stock Premium fuel and low grade fuel, its just the smaller stations not equipped with this facility.
