In the latest release of the Waze client there are a few new features. One of them is adding fuel prices at gas stations. On the US/Canada server this is up and running.
For the rest of the world this will be possible in a short time. To add this feature also in Belgium, we need a few details. Your help is needed!
Al gas types that are available in Belgium.
All brands of gas stations. Not only the well known brands, but also the smallerā¦So not company names, just brands!
So please post as many as you know to this post. As soon it seems to be ācompleteā, we send those to Waze R&D. If you forget a few, itās not an issue, keep posting them here, so we could add themā¦

We can only add the gas station ābrandsā to the database. You can add the station to the map as soon Waze is ready with implement this new feature. You can select from the brands that are in de database. As soon we can provide more info on this, you can find it here
We think we only want to add the ābiggerā brands, so not every single brandā¦that will be a little clutteredā¦

The new WME version with the possibilty to add gasstations with there details is live now. Only thing they forget to do is adding the brands to the database. I think (hope) this will be done after the weekend.
As soon we have enough gasstations added, the function to add prices in the app will be activatedā¦
Ok I let them add this brand also to the database. As soon everything is up and running we can deside if we keep or remove this kind of brands to keep it clearā¦
Iāll sended all brands to Waze, but they not added yet. I did expect this was allready done
As soon itās done, you should see the brands in the dropdown menu.
Iām will try to import most of the brandsās gasstations directly into the database. As soon I know the correct format, Import is not much work anymore. After that I think we have enough gasstations to activate this tool in the app
That brand has āonlyā 9 stations. So I suggest to wait till we see how this is implemented by Wazeā¦Iāll put it on the list as āmaybe laterāā¦
Great news! I didnāt hear anything from Waze about itā¦but thatās ok
I would like to ask everybody to fill in all details in this way:
Type: default is Gasstation allready
Name: Name of the station
Adress: streetname number cityname (check official cityname in the list if youāre not shure)
Brand: Select the correct Brand. They didnāt add the name āAutre/Otherā. I will ask that again. You have to use that for single stations or small brands.
Phone: in international format like +32232322343
Details: some extra info like opening hours, special services, ā¦
I see there are some strange unknown brands in the dropdown menu. Does anybody now them? I didnāt asked them to add theseā¦
I am trying already a few days to add gasstations but the only one that appears in my scrolldown menu on the phone are Foursquare results. Is that normal?
