Directions to golf courses, using course name, lead to places other than the entrance. I’ve been sent to dead end street, roads passing thru the middle of a course, the back of a course, etc. Brookside, Los Robles, Montebello, and others.
Hey there thanks for your report. When you are navigating to such a course, please submit a map issue in the app by tapping the Orange report button (usually lower right of the Waze interface), then tap Map Issue. Tap the Map Issue button in the middle of the screen and then tap wrong driving directions as the option. Toward the bottom of the screen, tap Add a comment and type what you did above - how you’re being routed to the wrong area of entrance for the golf course, and provide the golf course name. That way we can see exactly which course you’re talking about and correct it. Can you provide golf course names (and cities) that you recall where routing was bad so we can take a look and correct those ones? Thanks
Brookside Golf Club, Pasadena (7/23); Took me to road in middle of course. Los Robles Greens, Thousand Oaks (8/6); took me to dead end down the road from the entrance. Montebello Golf Course, Montebello (8/13) took me down the road past the entrance. Others I can’t remember.
Thanks. I’ve found your map comment placed at the proper entrance to Los Robles Greens. I’m reaching out to editors in the respective areas to get the stop points corrected. Will report back here when it’s done.
At Montebello, I see you dropped a report and ojlaw has been working with you on that one. Can you confirm where, exactly the stop point should be? Maybe include a screen grab of satellite view and point it out? It’s hard to tell from above where the club house is for that course. Thanks again for your heads up. And on the ones you can’t remember, just be sure and drop reports in the future, if routing is incorrect, and be as specific in your report as possible to help the editor working that area to help you.
I was asked if I typed in the name of the courses. Yes. I begin typing the name of the course and it will pop up. I tap it and it populates the location field, complete with address. At times, I have used the name an address that came from the calendar.

When destinations come from calendars, there may not be any way to fix it. We only have control of what happens when searching within the app.
