No. They have proprietary routing that differs from Waze. Because it is proprietary and they aren’t going to share, it leads one to understand why Waze instituted Places.
If there are a lot of UR’s about this you can ask the reporter to remove the search from the app and try it again. Make sure to tell them to use the waze search results and it should work proper just as long as the waze place point is in the correct location.

No.
The individuals offering their help with the pins issues are in no way associated with Google, nor do they really have any contact or “pull” with Google.
They are here to assist in moving Google “pins” that cause bad routing. They know how to use MM and either have a good amount of “approval power” themselves, or know who to contact to get things approved.
This service was started to help those Waze editors who either don’t know how or don’t want to mess with Google Map Maker on their own.
So as editors, should we start to work on putting more business places on the map? That seems a little difficult to do because it begs the question, “where does that data (legitimately) come from?” Or do we wait until the upcoming app update comes along that allows users to create places directly from the app and then we just work on approving them?
This is my take on the the Waze Places feature:
Google has a huge database of address information that I do see as invaluable and we should tap into it as much as possible without cluttering up WME with duplicate pins. If it can be adjusted in Google and published with little to no effort, GREAT!
But if Google is going to be difficult (i.e. boundary pins or random denial of edits), then THESE should be added to Waze.
When I make a request with this system will the team processing the request clear and associated URs?

You will receive notification on the status of your GMM edit request. I do not personally close URs.
The notifications I have been getting have ONLY said
and given the WME Permalink.
It would be a useful if the notification included the GMM permalink and also the comments we put into the form.
I sometimes have trouble remembering exactly what prompted me to submit a WME permalink. 
This doesn’t make sense to me, or maybe I am being dense. What is being asked for here? To zoom Map Maker to where the approximate location of where the Waze UR pin is on Google Maps then get a Google Map link for where that is?
Where on this form do I specify where the pin’s correct location should be placed?

Give us as much detail as you can in the comments as to where the pin should be.
The requestor’s email notification has been updated to now include the User’s comments.
Need a way to just request more info from the requestor. One I looked at today needed a pin moved and he posted a permalink but the permalink wasn’t zoomed in to the actual spot to where the address marker needed to be moved. So, I don’t want to deny it or state it’s under review just so he’ll get a notification back because neither of those are accurate.
I will look into this.

Hi, i know then Canada isn’t the USA but most waze basic’s are duplicated in canada,
i did had an adress issue and i did solve it, but can we “canadian” use the same report system for case like this one ?

some issue need edits on both systems, but GMM takes time to fix complicated issue that require more then 2 edits !!

Is the form linked to in the very first post of this thread still being monitored? If so, what sort of turnaround time is typical?
I requested help via the form on 9 January with a badly-placed Walmart in Pomona, trying to get the pin closer to the front door than the back loading docks, and moving a related pin (for the pharmacy) from a severely-wrong location. The former request has already been denied by a Google reviewer, the latter is languishing.
Naturally I don’t expect speedy response, we are volunteers after all! But at the same time I would feel a bit silly if in fact this system is no longer being attended to, what with the increasing emphasis on Places. Still, we are certainly not free of Google yet…!
@DwarfLord - I went through and cleaned up a bit of the sheet. We have a GMM RER (basically a Google version of a Champ) who can one hit most of these and understands it better. He is a little busy with the Tx Raid at the moment. But said he would get to them all tomorrow.
As to yours specifically, I approved one, but the other one was already denied. If you redo the change and shoot the link in I will make sure it gets approved right away.

Many of the pending edits for GMM were taken care of today. There are a few remaining but not many. I’ve gotten behind the last month or so trying to keep up with this between becoming an SM and helping with the various MapRaids.
