For close to a year now despite following dozens of instructions to reinstall the app, delete cache, check location permissions and all the other suggestions, my Waze is now almost useless. By comparison when I switch to Google Maps everything works fine. Same phone.
I am lucky if GPS is working properly 1/10th of the time. Even sitting in my driveway in the same house I have lived at for over 20 years where I never had any problems with GPS or location until last year. Now if Waze is lucky enough to find GPS maybe half the time it tells me I’m driving down my street.
If I restart the app 50% of the time that fixes the problem but only for a few minutes until the “No GPS” message appears again.
