GPS Problems and Munching Roads

I’m having a horrible time with the GPS signal cutting out when I’m navigating with Waze. It’s really frustrating and can add to a lot of missed turns when I’m just listening to the voice commands. The voice commands with just stop when the GPS cuts out, and then start up again when it returns and recalculate my route now that I’m off track.

It also cuts out when I’m trying to munch new roads. So I’ll much an entire road (it will show me munching it), and then the next day I’ll drive by and road shows up at not being munched! Or while in the process of munching, the GPS will just cut out and not be able to find me and I can’t keep munching.

As much as I’ve been enjoying Waze, it’s getting really frustrating to not have a reliable source of navigation.

Check the GPS on your device, coverage in your area might be spotty. i personally use GPS Test

Munchable roads do not always “clear” after only one pass.

I like to hit local munchable roads with my wife when we are out shopping on the weekends, so that is TWO Wazers in the vehicle. We’ll much the same road as many as three times before it clears.
