Any idea if the pumpkins & ghosts are part of a contest? Nothing on twitter or the blog so far.
Hopefully the Waze team is focusing on server stability, getting missing features into the new Cartouche, and getting Waze 3 complete and out the door vs. pumpkins and ghosts !
!? This makes me want to jump in my car RIGHT NOW and drive around in circles to try and find some!

No goodies on the US server, but I expect that after the Android contest. Halloween goodies usually show up later in October. Last year (2010), they appeared on Oct 20.
So what are the ghosts and pumpkins if not goodies?

Is Halloween a World-Wide holiday?
Near enough to basically be one.
I would much rather that when I turn on Waze… ask for a route it delivers it straight away first time without any errors… that is more of a challenge than finding pumpkins…

Yes. I could not set a route for at least 20 minutes after 4:30pm pacific here in California. Routing server timeout. Tried to set a route > 15 times.
Cupcakes on the world server are all 2 points…
I had no routing issues at all today. Several crashes though.

If it looks strange, or I used bad grammar or misspelled anything, it’s my phone’s fault.
Alan is way out there on the west coast… it took longer for the pumpkins from Ohio to arrive there, and those Ghosts don’t move to fast on broom sticks either.
