This month marks the 10 years anniversary of the #1 Wazer on the INTL scoreboard with 13’247’245 points.

Dear Silvio,
I simply wanted to write a few words to salute your many years of activity in the Waze Community.
As many Champs and high level editors know, the road with Waze can sometimes be bumpy, and while some people give up in hard times, you’ve remained active all these years and kept your passion for Waze.
We know that we can always count on you to make sure that the community’s opinion or concerns get clearly heard at meetups with staff when we see you take the microphone, when you say “listen”, people do. :wink:
So for your first decade with Waze I want to say that I admire your continued dedication and perseverance in this adventure we’re all in together. Thanks for all you do for the community and may we share 10 more years! (Google willing)

10 years in a community always in evolution is quite some time.

My first steps in Waze were together with Fej ( my first Waze Support), Dror, pleasant discussions about Community Issues with Noam, First Euro Meetup in Paris with Yael, Ehud, Fej, Drod and the “origin” of the community…Slicer, Wroadd, Dmacconockie, Brian McLoyd, Gerben …and others till the first Global Meetup … Orid and Shira on Tel Avis Seafront, Ori, Irad …till the New Hila , Gay Team (with the very patient Dana)…and the last additions of Ruben…and the youngest Leo.

….But around all the Waze Staff people I met during these 10 years there is a special “engine” that in my opinion move the whole Waze Project :

                                       All of You : The Waze Community !!!!!

Connect and disconnect segments during ten years it could be really boring…but all the experiences I got and learned being and meeting you during various meetups it’ s really something priceless !
…and I didn’t forget the great pleasure to see new community growing, map improving, and new editors grow.

The energy to go on it always comes from all of you and all the friends I got the pleasure to have and know all the times we met or work together.

We talk , discus, fight many times with Waze but in any moment, even if we could feel some frustrations . …we continue to enjoy because from that we get the energy to go on every day and try to get Waze App better and better.

Let continue to be together with great Pleasure ….for the next 10 years
