Highway 35 is closed between Page Mill Road and Saratoga Summit/ Highway 9. Waze is showing it as open and sending people that way. Google Maps is accurate - shows the road as closed.
Caltrans info on the road closure is accurate. Why isn’t Waze pulling it and showing the road closure?

Unfortunately, Waze does not have an automated way to pull closures from Caltrans or from any other agency. It relies on volunteers to put in closures.
If you are driving and you notice a road closure, you can put in the closure via the app by following the procedures as outlined in the Send a Road Closure section of this document: https://support.google.com/waze/answer/6262574?hl=en
Alternately, you can use this forum to inform us and one of the volunteer map editors can investigate and put the closure in.
Based on your report, and information on the CalTrans website, I’ve closed the road until 1 pm, March 31. If you see that it has opened earlier, or the closure extends beyond March 31, please let us know. Thanks.
