House Number - Waze vs. Google

Hi There,

I noticed that some users reporting wrong marker location for an address already exist on Waze.
I figured this by looking at the LiveMap and seeing the search for the specific adders provide two results with different postal code.
One example is the address is 2407 Bloor Street West, Toronto, ON.
The top result (wrong location) is the one from Google and the second from Waze (correct location) is the one I have added to Waze on Dec. 27.
The question is what gets priority when a user search for an address on his client
The more reasonable solution will be that Waze will search on Google only if the location doesn’t exist on the Waze house number database.

I will appreciate responses form editors experienced with this problem.

Many thanks,
Hagay.

Evidence indicates that the app currently works the other way around.

See this forum thread from November 2013, What do I do when Waze has my destination Wrong

which references this Wiki FAQ article What do I do when Waze has my destination or address at the wrong location?

How does one find missing house numbers besides clicking on each segment? https://www.waze.com/wiki/House_number. Doesn’t give me any insight into this.

Currently, you can’t. There may be functionality in the future to show all house numbers as a layer (the old Waze map editor could do this).
