I searched but was unable to find this answer anywhere. How do I add a location that doesn’t show up in a search? My local Kaiser Medical Facility for example doesn’t show up. When I try to follow the phone link to get this information, it does nothing. Thanks
Actually, I was trying to find out how to add a location to Waze’s database so I (and others) can benefit from this information in the future when searching. I assumed this could be done, but perhaps not?
Does it not show as a search result with the integrated Bing, Google, Yelp, or FourSquare results?
Correct and this happens so frequently on waze that I have to use google maps to get my navigation a lot of the time. It also often just shows the name of a business without an address or city so there’s no way to know if it’s the correct one (happens a lot with chains).
PS All I see are bing results. All I want to see are google. Is there a way to block the others or change the display order?
Depends on what version of the Waze Application you are using. Are you using Waze 3 for iPhone or the Waze 3 Beta for Android?
I have the droid, so I assume it’s the latter. I went into the program but couldn’t any versions listed. So, is there a way to address all these locations not showing up properly in waze when they all show up easily in google maps?
You will want to get the Beta for version 3 or wait until the Android 3 version of Waze is released. Usability in regards to POI lookup is greatly improved. Likely you have an older version of Waze.
There is no update or beta version other than what I have in the android market. Is there another way I can get this?
The betas are listed here on the forum or you can wait until tomorrow morning (Eastern time) when v3 is released to the market.
OK I went to Waze on my phone and loaded what it forced me to load. Version looks the same, and I had the same problem looking for my local Kaiser. Didn’t show up in results. It says there’s a way to add addresses not listed. That’s what I’m trying to figure out how to do. (All results were Bing.)

You need to use the specific URL’s to download the Beta versions. It is highly unlikely that you have a Beta version loaded now.
In the app check the version you have via Menu - settings - help - about
Ok the version I loaded on the main site has messed up my ability to login. It says failed login now everytime and the login info is correct. I’ll just uninstall and reintsall the current market version and wait for the new version to come to the market I guess.
Version 2.4.0.1 after loading the version directly from the waze site. I will check the version when I install the market one. (Appears the website version is older as the market now shows that I need an update.)
Remember the fields are case sensitive!
2.4.0.26 is market version (and what I had before I tried the website version). Reinstalled that and login works fine again. POI search remains the same problem. I’ll hope the new version tomorrow is better. Thanks 
Exactly. Version 2.4.x does not have these additional search providers integrated. You will notice a big change with version 3.x.
Search in v3 is a lot better!!
