Is there a way to connect to other wazer Users in my area without adding them to facebook?
I wont want to add any one to my facebook as friend (and give them access to all Information that friends have)… just beause they are my co wazers?
it can raise security concerns.
but i would definately like them to be as friends on waze so that they can update me and I can update them on something happening on road that can not be reported… like some march on road… or some public activity.
Not at the moment, I agree it’s a weak solution!
facebook friends are all over the world and get you some bonuses. Local groups are where you get twitter feeds of local happenings. You can limit what your fb friends can see by putting them in a category and limiting the sharing but unless you post each other about traffic, it won’t affect your driving. It is fun to compete with them on the scoreboard though.
Unwallflower will breathe a big sigh but I’ve said it before, twitter friends would make more sense than FB!

That’s pretty weak too in my opinion - no way to contact other people in the group other than via the forum PM function!
If we have many people needing this functionality can we add it as Request in user Voice?
I am new to it. so do not know the procedure/ or way to raise enhancement request.

I have to agree, requiring FaceBook is a bad design. Allowing Facebook is fine, as it is possible. But a lot of my friends refuse to use FaceBook because of their inept and constantly changing privacy policies.
is it already on User voice? if no who can add it?
