How to handle destination and parking not on same street

Hi y’all, is there a map edit that’s appropriate for the case where arriving at the street address of your destination means you’ve missed the turn leading to its parking area?

Forgive me if that’s in a faq somewhere; I clicked around a little and kept getting broken links so I went ahead and posted.

Welcome! You’ll have to add a residential point place (RPP) with a stop point setup on the entrance to the parking area in the map editor.

Can you provide the address? We can help you get it setup and/or check to make sure the work is correct.

RPP is a good answer, but you should also be aware that using a Place NAME vice a physical address generally works better in Waze. This is because we associate the Place Point to the actual entrance and thus you will be told you have arrived when you are adjacent to the main entrance and most likely the parking lot. In the rare case that the parking lot is in the rear but the entrance is front, we generally adjust the Place Point to the entrance of the Parking Lot so as to give you the option to enter the parking lot.

Do you recall which pages had broken links? We can look into correcting them.
