Hi, can anyone help with an edit? I live at 250 E 87th Street, New York, NY 10128. When you search that address it appears as a parking lot. There is one for the building that is public and run by City Parking. It has two entrances, which are correctly marks as the main one on 87th St (40.77872024807933, -73.95182765442576) and the secondary on 86th Street (40.778230758474265, -73.95216427165873). However, there is also the residential driveway, which is also located on East 87th Street (40.778678611137316, -73.95173645931848). That building is called The Newbury.
Is someone able to assist? I’m not sure if it needs to be split. Both the garage and the building have the same address of 250 E 87th Street, although they have two separate entrances next to each other. Also, when I drive to 250 E 87th Street it always directs me to the side of the building on 2nd Avenue where there is no entrance for anything.

The address point for 250 E 87th St. is currently set to stop on 87th at the main entrance to the building. See the screenshot below.
The parking lot here has 2 entry/exit points which you noted are correctly placed. Currently only 1 entry/exit point is presented in the app, the one marked as “Main”. The entrance on 86th was set as “Main” which I’ve changed to 87th St.
It looks like the driveway you described is where the current stop location is for 250 E 87th, at the main entrance to the building. See the screenshot below.
The fact that you’re being directed to 2nd Ave is odd but could have something to do with the way you’re searching for the address. Are you using Siri or Google Assistant (CarPlay or Android Auto, respectively)? If a Google stop point is being chosen that could potentially be snapped to 2nd Ave so I’ve submitted an edit to Google Maps to move the pin closer to E 87th.
To summarize, searching for 250 E 87th St should route to the driveway main entrance on E 87th St, unless a Google (or potentially Apple) result is being chosen. A Google edit is pending that could fix your 2nd Ave routing issue. The garage here run by City Parking now has the main entrance on E 87th St, and if support for multiple entry points hits the app at some point, the choice will be given between E 87th and E 86th. Given all of this information, are there more adjustments that need to be made to more efficiently route to 250 E 87th St?
