Instead of having construction notifications posted every few miles, could the map be updated. There is construction on I-10, both directions between exit 28 (Long Beach) and exit 15 (Diamondhead). They are going from 2 lanes in each direction to 3 and the posted speed limit is 60mph. It’s gone on for some time, but I suspect it will be this way for several more months

The notifications are from app users not from the editors.

As John (@jm6087) pointed out, the construction notifications that you see popping up in the app are reported by other Wazers, like yourself, by hitting the “Report” button on the app.
However, I did create a Traffic Event for this construction project, which according to MDOT will end in March of 2027.

Yes, I understand the construction notifications are from other Waze users, but I hoped that if map editors would create an event for that area, users would be less likely to to mark every few miles as a construction zone. Thanks for making that update!
