At roughly 9:30am today I was about to head northbound to UW. The default route Waze suggested included heading exiting I-5 and getting on the (northbound) express lanes. Problem is, I-5’s express lanes in Seattle do not switch to northbound until roughly 11:30-11:50 am, except under special circumstances - and later I visually verified that the express lanes were indeed still heading southbound today at 10:00.
I wasn’t sure how to report this, so I’d appreciate any info anyone can provide. Thanks!
Sorry about that. I had to remove the normal schedule last week because it was open northbound while they closed all or most of I-5 north overnight. I’ll double check other days to make sure it’s correct.
Thanks for fixing it! It didn’t actually cause a problem for me because I assumed it was wonky, but it could be confusing for some others.
Not a problem. FYI they’re doing the same thing this Thursday and Friday night. Closing most/all of I-5 and using either collector/distributor lanes or Express lanes. The following weekend they’re doing the same to southbound.
