I notice that there are several reports regarding Waze routing drivers onto the I5 Express Lanes during closure hours (example: routing a driver onto the s/b Express Lanes at 9:45PM when they are not open for s/b traffic). All the restrictions appear to be in place, so I cannot find anything from an editor’s perspective that we can do to address the issue. Is anyone aware of a known issue that occurred?

Yes, WSDOT had different things than usual planned for the Express Lanes. And they do not notify when those plans change. It’s possible they had it set for one direction on the construction alert sheet then changed it to the other direction. I’ve done so many of the switches I don’t know what I set last week.
I’m not sure what’s going on but I just checked the Exp Lns just now and they were set to be restricted 24/7 both directions. So until we get a tile update nobody will be getting routed onto the Exp Lns.
When I left the segments yesterday they were set correctly. Now they’re back to being closed 24/7. Really wondering what gremlins are at work on this one.
UPDATE
I think I have them set now. Something about the TBR set to start at 00:00 made the system want to make it a 24 hour restriction, even though I had set to open at 05:00 or 13:15.
The I-90 Exp Lns are also affected by this TBR bug.
