Thanks! I tried to do this tonight but got a generic email response that said to post a map edit. However, the closures don’t start until Friday, 1/18 at 9:00 pm. There will be a Ramp closure this weekend, but I-59/20 will close Monday night at 9:00 pm and be closed for at least 1 year.

That is correct - starting Monday, 1/21/2019 - the road/bridge is to be closed for at least 14 Months, which means at least 18 months!!!

We have the closer starting on the 21st at 9pm per AL DOT.

Thanks! I’m with ALDOT and am dealing with this project daily. Will be on the lookout for the changes in Waze. If something else changes, I will message you ahead so the system can reflect the changes prior to and aid traffic before some unlucky user finds it.

While 14 months are allowed for the closure, contractor is aiming for 12. If he goes more than 14, it costs him lots of money every day.
