I clicked on a UR from someone regarding Wrong Driving Directions, and asked for more info (as usual).
He/She sent back this…
“I honestly don’t remember. My suggestion would be to have an automated email go to people reminding them to fill in details that day, because as cool as it is to report map issues, 4 days later makes it difficult to remember details.”
In the ongoing effort to get more info on UR’s, I thought this was a good idea. Feasible or not, I don’t know, but I wanted to pass the feedback on.
Now if we can only get people to answer their emails!
Mike
I completely agree with trying to get more information the same day.
This has been talked about before in another forum topic. Check it out.

I agree also that it would make it a lot easier to help take care of the UR’s in a timely manner .

SEE: Give Map Issue reports a Later button to finish the report when safe & Cache map issue reports indefinitely
Once these are implemented, I think it should prevent you submitting a blank report. A reporter should always at least enter their approximate destination address OR if Waze can provide us with that information. Again, doesn’t have to be exact, just approximate street address.
That is really good to know that it has been discussed and they are looking into doing this hopefully soon.
