My first forum post thought id contribute a good idea for WAZE, I have recently been discovering unmarked police vehicles operating “sting operations” in plain sight in the same known areas on the side of a road.
Many of these times the vehicles have not been reported so are invisible to motorists who are unfamiliar with the area are unaware that police operate in their regular spots to generate revenue. A great feature would be if local people who are familiar with the area can report known locations by adding a circle/radius of where the police vehicles usually park 24/7 so that people avoid the area or are given a warning before approaching these regular area’s where the police regularly do stakeouts. I’ve done a little image as an example.
What are your thoughts on this ?
