Can this roundabout be downlocked to march surrounding roads. There is no apparent reason for its high lock.
Downlocked. Some people have a roundabout lock fetish. :shock:
Watch out for the elevation of roundabouts too, although this one was correct.

There used to be an occasional problem with roundabouts where they would lose their “roundaboutness” - the segments would change to normal segment types with a consequent loss of proper instructions. It only happened occasionally when I started with Waze and I haven’t heard of it happening for a couple of years.
I believe locking a roundabout was one way to prevent this happening. But back then, we couldn’t control lock levels, so many roundabouts were locked by then-low-level editors who got promoted to higher levels - and their locks with them.If you see a highly-locked roundabout that hasn’t been edited since 2012 or earlier, it’s just a legacy lock that had good reasons at the time.
As for the roundabout elevations: there was a bug in WME Toolbox some time ago (over a year, I think). When you used the “re-do roundabout” tool, it also raised the elevation of the roundabout. And, of course, WME Toolbox has the silly “non-consecutive IDs” highlight which encourages editors to re-do roundabouts that have nothing wrong with them. :roll:
