There are two URs reporting a TNA here.

I see SGN works there, 1 May 10:13 - 1 Jun - but no information about which roads are closed.

Should that segment of Glasgow Rd be closed?

I would suggest it segment within the junction that needs closing (which I’ve done). This will prevent the right turn (and straight over between Cart and Argyll).
