To make speed limit corrections along this part of A39. There is a 30mph limit along part of the road.

PS. why does my Permalink (above) not appear as a single word like other editor’s posts? I followed the instructions in the wiki :?

When you’re done, if you’ve split any segments, it will be helpful if you can supply a new permalink, since splitting a segment effectively removes the old segment ID, creating 2 new ones.

I don’t think the Wiki says anything about this. It’s done using BBCode, which is the markup used by phpBB, the software used for this forum. To get a permalink like this, you need to enter something like this when typing your message:

The basic format is {url=<web address>}<piece of text>{/url} - but with square brackets, not curly ones. It’s not a particularly important thing to do, but it is nice. :slight_smile: If you’re typing a forum post, just to the right is a label that says “BBCode is ON”. The word BBCode is a link to a help page for BBCode.

Also I see that 50mph limit extends a bit further up the dual carriage way of A39 to the north east of the roundabout. link 2

please can you unlock these down to L1 ?

You need a bit more practice on shortening those permalinks - I had to correct both of them! :wink: If you hit the “Edit” button for your post above, you will see what I’ve done.

Speed limit edits are done now. The sections can be locked back to 4 again.

Here’s the new section 30mph limit. Hope this is an improved permalink.
