L4-L2 unlock: North Willoughby (NSW)

Could someone L4+ please edit or unlock the following segments, for city name changes. In both cases, some segments are locked at L3, while others are locked at L4.

  • High Street to change city from “North Willoughby, NSW” to “North Willoughby”.
  • High Street, to change city from “Willoughby East, NSW” to “Willoughby East” and, for applicable segments, alternate city from North Willoughby, NSW" to “North Willoughby”. (Inconsistency in suburb naming confirmed: http://maps.six.nsw.gov.au/ gives the suburb names as North Willoughby (cardinal first) and Willoughby East (cardinal last). Australia Post recognises both North Willoughby and Willoughby North, but only Willoughby East not East Willoughby.)

I’m assuming that there is no benefit in adding “Willoughby North” as an alternate city name to all the North Willoughby streets and places, because a search for either in Waze client would still return the correct result?

If the proper name for the suburb is North Willoughby, then it should be only that and no other form as an alternative name.

Whilst fixing things up there, High St north of Victoria Ave is currently a primary street and looks like it should be changed to a street type.

Thanks, all fixed and ready to restore to L3 or L4 as appropriate.

I took a contrary view on the problem with the northern part of High St - I’ve left it as is but also made the section of Smith St a Primary Road which fits better with my understanding of that area plus is consistent with Sydway directory.

Local knowledge is always the best :slight_smile:
No reason for them to be relocked, must have been a legacy locking bug.
