Steps to reproduce this issue:
I was just editing and approving a suggest an edit but while working WME switched from Save to Send for Review for myself.
Who is going to approve this?

I’m trying to figure out which exact change triggered SaE.
Just to clarify, you started making your own edits, then approved a suggestion, then continued editing after which you were put in SaE mode?

Hi,
No I approved it and then some of the edits were wrong so I adjusted them to be correct otherwise I would save wrong updates.
Then when I looked to top right this was already SfR instead of Save.

I just tried with the toolbox on and a bunch of scripts including the validator one - when attempting to recreate your edit (loosely) I receive a snackbar message saying that this change is not allowed and won’t be sent for review; there is no error when I try to do the same without scripts.
If you wish, I could try to accept your suggestion (it might fail), but we’ll continue to monitor this case.

Yes, please accept and resolve. That error comes many times.
I have been more vigilant and trying to recreate the edit with new map suggestions but haven’t been able to change save to send for review yet.

I’ve just accepted it. It says ‘Suggestion not addded’ but it’s due to the fact that the suggestion included a split - for now, it shows like this whenever there’s a split action involved.

I experienced this a few days ago.
It has been less frequent for me, but still there.
Yes, happened a few days ago right after I had approved some edits.

I suppose your suggestions have already been added to the map, correct?

I don’t save them as suggestions when it happens. I curse (mandatory 
), undo, zoom out, re-do and after a few tries it saves.
Do you want us to save them as Suggestions and leave them open?

I approved some PURs and added some roads beforehand. Didn’t interact with any segment suggestions though.
