Unable to submit a Map Suggestion on Visual instruction

Steps to reproduce this issue:
On this PL I’m trying to add a Visual Instruction to the N317 on the left turn.

Since the N317 is L4 and I’m an L3 I should get the option to add it as map suggestion yet when I make the edit I’m faced with a ‘save’ option.

When I save I obviously get an error due to lacking permissions.

On the right turn LeoTestaccount (L1) was able to make a MS while I wasn’t.

I’ve tried in incognito and in normal browser both chrome.

I have a few questions about this case. Just to confirm — do I understand correctly that you want to add a suggestion for a left turn from N317 - Terborgseweg to Prinsenstraat?

Also, can you confirm if the issue is reproducible without any scripts?

No I think you misunderstood. I want to add a left turn instruction from the Tulenstraat to the N317 Terborgseweg.

I’ve tried the following browsers:

Chrome with scripts
Chrome incognite without scripts
Firefox without scripts.

Also confirming that I cannot use suggest an edit on turns anymore (tested scriptless in prod and beta)

As an L4 I cannot modify anything for the turn for this L3 segment to the L5 Ramp
Saving does not open the suggest an edit window to explain, and just denies it for lack of permissions

I asked an Level 3 editor to try and they were able to adjust the TTS override to a L5 ramp connected and save the suggestion, but I cannot do the same as an Level 4 in any of my edit areas

Did some more testing and found:
I can suggest an edit and save it for review for a turn that is outside my edit area

But if I try the same kind of edit inside my own edit area, I get a save error for lack of permissions, hopefully this is not WAD

As L3 editor in France, if I want to suggest a turn instruction from L3 segment to L4 or L5 segment I get an error message saying that I am not allowed to make this change instead of creating the suggestion.

Could it be fixed?

Seems like it’s working properly now. Only thing is when editing a Level 4 (or lower) segment with a turn towards a Level 5 segment I can now save it without making a suggestion.

So in short I can change the TI towards a higher level segment.

Is this WAD?

Updated: I have checked with the team. Right now, we have the logic that checks permissions for the ‘From’ segment only. The other direction — the ‘To’ segment — does not require edit permissions.
