I have a better route to drive during rush-hours. It would be nice to have a “learn new route” option, so we can get the estimated time for that route as well as the recommended routes. See which one would be faster.
Just drive the different routes on different days. Waze is analyzing everyone’s drives all the time in 30-min intervals throughout the day. Your data and everyone else’s data during those times will allow Waze to compute which is the faster path.
There is the possibility that road types can get in the way, however. Waze’s routing code has built-in filters for the types of roads it will prefer based on the distance of your route.
