I added a parking lot but cannot set Livingston Ave to turn into the parking lot. The east entrance is one way in and the west entrance is one way out. Whenever I do directions to this location it tells me turn on the street before it, I hope this will fix that.
Currently, Waze routes to a point on the map associated with whatever Point Of Interest (POI) you’re searching for (business, street address, whatever). And the fun part is that the exact location of that point isn’t visible in the WME.
So the key is to get your parking lot road next to the business. I like that you didn’t go crazy mapping every lane of the parking lot, but in this case I actually expanded the parking lot road to ensure proper routing to the businesses there. I also took out the exit lane since that won’t add any functionality.
NOTE: that’s all set to change, so don’t go crazy adding parking lot roads to every store you see. From what I’ve read, they’re looking at a solution where a POI can be tied to a particular street.
