I changed Highland Ave to reflect the fact it is split in the middle allowing only one-way travel for a portion of its length but now the (locked) ramps onto and off of Rt. 95 are connected incorrectly and the nodes need to be moved. I’m a level one editor but I’ve lived in Needham since 1993.

Highland Ave does not meet the requirements to be split. See http://www.waze.com/wiki/index.php/Best_map_editing_practice#When_.28Not.29_to_Split_a_Two-Way_Road

The method you used to split the road is incorrect & is removing critical data from the Waze routing engine.
I’m undoing your changes now.
I appreciate your quick response. There were problem reports however, wherein the driver couldn’t make turns recommended by waze, and Highland Ave can not be travelled in the way waze suggested. If you look at other maps of the area, you’ll see it is split similarly to how I’d split it.
The wiki clearly states “A road should not be split when… (Just because) Google Maps or other mapping source show it as a split road.”
The left turns across the divider can simply be denied using turn restrictions, which I’m pretty sure I’ve set correctly now.
There are no URs or MPs there now… You should not be closing them until the work is finished. Were they URs or MPs? If they were MPs (Automatically detected) with the “User did not follow the suggested route” type, those typically use old data that may have been fixed since the data was collected, but before the MP showed up.
There were two user reports, which I had cleared.
