Level 1 editor connecting new roads to level 3 roads.

We’re adding round about for the intersection of Bussell Highway and Perimeter Road. Also connecting Perimeter Road near Rosa Brook Road and updating Airstrip Access Road.
A Waze user report shows wrong directions. We had a look at the other day and created local knowledge maps for the area. Roadworks are 99% completed and roads are all open for traffic.

Thanks ituajr. Waze is functional there now and the map layout is reflecting reality.
One unusual thing was the new road name, on all the new road signs apart from one the new bypass was called Perimeter Road. At the junction of Airstrip Access Road it’s signed as Margaret River Perimeter Road. So we made primary name Perimeter Rd and additional name Margaret River Perimeter Rd.
Still left to do is road type, speed limit and road name for the locked section of Perimeter Road.
We believe with the opening of Perimeter Road the Waze map should have Bussell Highway as a primary street, rather than a major highway, between the two ends of Perimeter Road and Perimeter Road should become major highway instead. Do we wait for GPS traces to reflect that belief before switching the road types or just go ahead??

Thanks for that ituajr. We just updated the speed limit for that little section of Perimeter Road.
It looks like SR 10 has been shifted to Perimeter Rd now. At the junction of Bussell Highway and Perimeter Road you can see the blue shield. Next time we’re down that way we’ll have a good look at all the new signs to see where SR 10 goes now. We’ll get back to you about it in case we believe Waze needs updating there.
