This segment is coned-off to disallow left turns from both directions along Von Karman and is being patrolled by Irvine Police. I want to mark the disallowed turns.

Actually, both ends. The cones are meant to block left turns from the northbound, but they incidentally block the left turn from the southbound and make it very unsafe to attempt. The next PLR entrance is much safer and legal.
FYI, the left turn in question leads to an Amazon Flex pickup point and traffic has backed up onto Von Karman. I’ve seen 3 motorcycle Irvine PD on multiple days parked across the street waiting for scofflaws. There is also an electric sign advising drivers to make their entrance via Main and Gilbert.
I made the changes (as we discussed on Discord) and the segment can be locked again.
