This segment needs to be split with the left half being increased to 50. Aproximate location of 40 to 50 change:
The same segment must then again be split further to the south west with it returning to 40 approximately here:

The pictures were perfect! Perhaps an easier way would be to create a couple of marker segments in the places to split. Deliberately leave them un-named so they stand out, or you could name them “Marker segment”. Then you can use them in permalinks and the responding editor can use them to split the main road and delete them as they go.
