Is There A Way To Get Some One To Edit A Major Road, And Get Credit For The Edit?
Sorry but no. When roads are locked especially main roads it is for a reason and thus the Sr editors will just make the edits and get the credit. This is because it doesn’t make sense to drop the lock, wait for you to make the edit and raise it back up. We don’t do it to get the credit, but because the integrity of the roads is more important than edit credits.
Thanks for the info I appreciate it. I just travel this particular road every weekend and it’s under construction for the next six months. I only want to make the quick edit and get points and improve the navigation. It’s annoying to use waze navigation and know it will be wrong until someone fixes it and I know how to fix the section of high way. Oh well
Let me suggest you get in contact with bgodette, the level 6 for CO. He will watch that section or set up another Sr editor to watch it more closely, and work with you to update as needed. I sent him a PM to look at this thread.
