That’s an interesting one, as far as I can tell from Street View, right turn into it is legal.

In the section for straight arrows, a driver is not allowed to make a right turn from that lane. In this case, the arrow is a clear right turn arrow from the far right lane as that is the direction onto Cordelia St.
I can not find a clear reference in the Qld Road Rules as to what should happen here, but I am hesitant to say this should be legal.
You can turn right if single solid line.
Take two situations in isolation.
You are driving along a main road and come to an intersection and you are in the right lane of a multi lane road, but the right lane is marked with straight arrows. You are not permitted to turn right. That is a clear from the Qld road rules. It is why the straight arrows are there.
So, now we look at this situation. Vulture St curves around to the right and continues onto to Cordelia St. TMR have placed right arrows in both lanes, which says to me that they want traffic to continue on and around the corner to Cordelia St and not stop to make the turn at Tribune St.
As for being able to turn when it is a single solid line, that is true, but that not to be taken in isolation. You can turn across the single solid line if there are no turn signs, lines on the road or other markings preventing you from doing so.
So it is not a open and shut case of- single, solid line- turn must be legal.
Should we do the drivers a favour and mark it as disallowed?
