Report- No right turn SR 31- Musgrave Rd into Eva St

Person has not actually reported from this location, but the report is about this spot and is saying that the right turn from Musgrave Rd into Eva St should not be allowed as the road markings give a straight arrow. There is not a no right hand turn sign into Eva St.

The right hand lane does show a straight arrow and there is no dotted lines going across the intersection towards Eva St. But I am mindful that there is not a no right hand turn sign either.

So to more experienced editors, and those who are willing to read through the TMR road rules as well, what is the situation here. Is it legal to turn right into Eva St? That is our only consideration. To leave the arrow green, or turn it red.

Disclaimer: I’m an engineer, not a lawyer, so I’ll just copy and paste direct from the Regulation, which I assume has been given power under an Act.

28(2) refers to vehicles longer than 7.5 metres turning left.
32(2) refers to vehicles longer than 7.5 metres turning right.

Conclusion: Right turn to be restricted.

Segments dropped for you.

I have red arrowed this turn and also informed the reporter.
