You haven’t included the segments up to Church Street, although they’re shown as closed on roadworks.org. Any reason?

Hi.

No just an omission on my part, sorry.

No worries.

I’d already applied the closures to the segments you permalinked. I’ve now pushed the remaining ones onto the extra segments.

Thanks.

Is there a way to change the segments an existing closure affects or does this always require a new one?

Technically, a closure applies to a single segment. Adding a closure with multiple segments selected simply places identical single closures on each of those segments. Any further changes to any one of those closed segments does not affect the others.

To remove a closure from some segments, select those segments and remove the closure.

To add a closure to new segments, select a segment that already has the closure on it, plus however many segments you want to add that closure to. In the closures list, there will be a heading that says “These closures only apply to some of the segments selected:” and each closure in that list will have an “Apply to all” link.

Thanks for the tip! Real useful.

Hi Sylvain. FYI, I have received 3 reports saying the road is open in the middle of the day: 2 through comments on the closures and 1 UR.

Although roadworks.org is still showing the road closed right the way up to Church Street, I’ve removed the closures from all except the southernmost section, which corresponds with the A-B markers for the original Map Problem. Hopefully that closure is real!

OK thanks

You won’t believe this - with June 20th arrived and the closure about to end, I finally have some real information! Someone commented on Monday’s closure: “Only closed 8pm to 6am”. :? :x

I’ve amended the last remaining closure to reflect that. It will be gone by the morning and I’ll be glad to see the back of it!

I totally see what you mean
