Lowered. Going forward, please only send the locked segments, not the segments which you can already edit. Also when adding PLRs, please also add business or residential places which would need the PLR for navigation. We don’t want to add PLRs to the map just because they exist, rather only to improve navigation and access to either business or residential places.

I’ve received, and largely taken to heart, this message already. In this instance, PLRs were added months ago by other editor(s) and never junctioned. Would removing them have made more sense?

Thanks for picking up another editors poor addition of the PLRs. With respect to their need, if there are no waze places needing the PLRs, the PLRs should be removed based on our current guidance. There are some potential changes coming soon which may change that guidance, but you should take the additional time to review the area and add the places. If you can’t find the information about the places, then remove the PLRs until the places are added. This area should be relatively easy to research and get the places added, and will give you the added edits!
