This roundabout I have reports that is it 20Mph so I have set the ends of the Slip roads to 20mph just incase. Here Streetview was from a time when they were changing the signs here.
I personally have not been there recently to have a look.

Since there is some doubt, I have removed the speed limits from the roundabout. It is very doubtful that speed limits on the vast majority of roundabouts make much sense.
- They often form a meeting of roads with different speed limits which may only be signposted on exits.
- For all except the largest roundabouts, drivers are concerned with other traffic and negotiating the junction. Paying attention to your speed is a positively dangerous thing to do.
- In a similar vein, having the app try & draw your attention to your speed is far more dangerously distracting than keeping quiet.
- Given the general shape of roundabouts (round), you rarely travel in a straight line far enough for a speed gun to accurately measure your speed; and if the police were to set a speed trap on a roundabout, then their normal procedure (have someone further down the road to pull you over) would suffer from not knowing which road you were heading down!
When Waze said they would generate estimated speeds, we meant to ask them not to do so for roundabouts.
My personal opinion is that we would lose nothing whatsoever if they were to automatically remove all estimated speeds from roundabouts. Mind you, given most of the estimated speeds I’ve seen, I don’t think we’d lose much if they had never bothered in the first place. :roll:
Well Tower Hamlets council will disagree with you and say that it is 20 mph.
They and a few other London Boroughs have gone against Police advice and set all the speed Limits they can set all the roads they control to 20Mph. Since the Police operate the Speed Cameras I have been told they are still set to 30Mph but I am not going to try it to find out. :roll:
So I am making a list of the London Boroughs that have done this. So I could go and set loads of streets that I can edit to 20mph.
I am going to check this when driving to work this morning.
Right I went round the roundabout and I can confirm it is 20mph due to the Fact Tower Hamlets own the Roundabout and TFL own the Slip roads. This is the reason for the conflicting signs. In the picture I have attached (Taken from my dash camera) TFL own the pole with 30Mph on it since it says Red Route Ends.
So Tower Hamlets Council put up it’s own 20Mph signs you can see it above the Silver car opposite. Also if I upload the Video you can see 20mph signs in the road which I guess have been put in since Google went through here. 
You could say Politics in London get confusing.
P.S. the time on the Dash camera is still set to British Summer Time.
