Live Feed from "Infotripla"

Hi folks,

In order to improve to data Wazer in Finland can get using Waze, we will show live feed about road alerts and hazards from “Infotripla” on Waze’s maps.

Most of the feeds are from Liikennevirasto, so I’d guess a feedback to them could solve those.

By reading Tekniikan Maailma (which omitted Waze when writing a story about intelligent traffic) I learned about v-traffic (http://www.v-traffic.fi). V-Traffic seems to be EU wide but at this stage only certain countries are included and Finland is one.

V-Traffic offers interfaces so I think it should be more beneficial getting data there. V-traffic also includes mobile phone location area change-based traffic estimation which would be nice addition to Waze’s “rush hour” coloring…

V-traffic also has Android and apple apps.

Is it possible to get live traffic data to Waze? I think there are still not enough users to get that kind of information from them.

Today I found out that Apple maps gets that kind of information from somewhere. Links below.
