Is it possible to set up a template for inbound and outbound traffic patterns for a local concert venue? The traffic patterns are always the same. The road closures start 1 hour before gates open and last until approximately 2130 hours. There is a new outbound traffic pattern that starts at 2130 hours and lasts until approximately midnight. It would be helpful to the community to have the road closures entered as concerts are announced to help get people around the venue.

I would also like to rename the parking lots/garages to the numbers used by the venue. That could be a permanent addition as the numbers don’t change from year to year.

If it’s possible, I’ll be happy to set it up.

This is very possible. You just need to let the local editing community know the traffic pattern and timing to add the closures. Where is this venue?

I’ll move it to United States > Maryland .

In order to program the traffic pattern, we’ll need to know which roads are impacted and for how long.

Also a schedule of the concerts and when the traffic pattern switches.

Ok. Sorry for the delay. I had to get a copy of the police department’s plans for the roadways. There are concerts on the following dates and then nothing until next year:

W/B Little Patuxent PKWY to Merriweather Post - Closed (No Turns) This is the turn just West of the crosswalk on Little Patuxent across from 10480 Little Patuxent

W/B Divided Sky Ln @ Grantchester Wy - Right Turn Only
S/B Granchester Wy @ Divided Sky Ln - Right Turn Only

The following roads are impacted from 2200 hrs until midnight
E/B Hickory Ridge Rd. @ Merriweather Dr – Right turn only
N/B Merriweather Dr. @ Hickory Ridge Rd – Left Turn only
S/B Merriweather Dr. @ Hickory Ridge Rd – Right Turn only
S/B Grantchester Wy @ Divided Sky Ln – Right Turn only
W/B Divided Sky Ln @ Brokenland Pkwy – Use the gate to make a left onto S/B Brokenland Pkwy
N/B Symphony Woods Rd @ South Entrance Rd – Right turns only

These are the every concert closures, so they are the more important ones to focus on. Please let me know if you need any clarification or any other info.

10/6/2025 @ 1730 hrs (5:30 pm)
10/9/2025 @ 1630 hrs (4:30 pm)

Thank you for the information. We have entered the closures for tonight’s concert starting at 530pm. The one thing we can’t currently support is the left turn from Divided Sky Ln to southbound Broken Land Pkwy. We have that mapped as not open to vehicle traffic. We will have to think about how we can support this for concert exit traffic.

For October 9th (which starts an hour earlier), do all the closures, turn restrictions shift an hour earlier? or do the “after concert” hours remain in effect from 2200 until midnight?
