Login to Account not possible

I forgot my password, but I do know my username.
Using waze options forcthis case: I followed instructions and entered a new password.
Unfortunately I got network errors while doing this, and now I cannot enter a new passwort anymore.
As I don’t have an E-Mail binded to my account, how can I reset passwort? Don’t want to loose my thousands of points??
Can someone help?

Thanks for your immediate answer.
I tried it two times sending me an sms, but while entering an new passwort waze always showed me a network error!
Now, waze ignores this account recovery option via app and wants me to register my phone number (again).
I guess by doing this, waze will create a new account loosing all my data, right?
as I never registered my email, I see no way to get back to my account at the moment.
(phone Number and username still the same, using ios app)

Not sure. I’m not on iOS and I haven’t encountered the network error. But I’ve been able to register a different phone number to my username at different times.

Ok, I could give it a go.
But I assume you had your password while registering different phone numbers? how else could waze know?

Yes! Worked.
waze asked me if the registered user under my phone number belongs to me.
Doing some internal checks, waze recovers my account!
Going to (good)sleep now in germany.
