Long term road closure (utility work) in Garner NC not shown on Waze

Eastbound Garner Rd is closed from New Rand Rd to Jones Sausage Rd (westbound traffic is still permitted). This is due to utility work that is estimated for 2 months. Waze shows this road open in both directions, which is incorrect. Here is the official government information / announcement for the work:

Unfortunately, if you make it up to this point eastbound on Garner Rd, there is no short/convenient detour from there.
