Looking to add highway distance markers

Hi all,

Looking to see if anyone knows how to add or if its even possible to add highway distance markers to the map, willing to take the time to manually add them
all in if need be!

Hey JBrownWest, welcome to map editing!

I edit the map out here in Nova Scotia, mainly myself and and restless_in_nb. There may be a solution that we could test out but I’ll discuss this with some higher ranked editors to see, but as far as I know this type of edit hasn’t been implemented anywhere in North America. I did do an example to test out myself to see how it’ll work in the app. See link Permalink

We are always looking for extra help however to help out edit the map around the province, so if you are interested let me know and we can discuss. Us Canadian editors use Discord to chat mostly, so I can grab an invite link if you want.

In regards to your reply I would be more than happy to put some time in and help out with the map editing for sure, also taking a look at the example link you provided… is this live or are you only able to view it in app?

Awesome! Once you join the server I can add you as a friend and we can chat privately.

That was the point for in the map editor that I placed. You can preview it in the live map as of now using the venue ID.

Usually, for place points they are added in the app once a day for search results within the app - just checked my app, and doesn’t appear to be live yet but should be tomorrow.

As a data point, there are a couple of states in the US that have mile markers mapped as point places. None in my region, but I would check Iowa and maybe Idaho.
