I would suggest that we disconnect the segment and re-attach it further down the ramp where the straight through lane begins as a keep right instruction, it is key that where it is currently giving the keep right instruction that it is a keep left instruction so Wazers don’t join the right turning lane queues, this will allow wazers to continue to out fox non-wazers by not having to wait 2-3 light cycles.
The problem as it is is that only the left-most segment from that sort of junction gets a Keep Left - ALL the others will get a Keep Right.
I put in a solution but reversed it out when I realised it wouldn’t work. At the moment with all the segments being ramps and the current naming, it’s going to require either some name change or segment type changes to make it work without the straight-through traffic getting a “Keep Right” at some point.
I was the last editor to clean up that intersection, but was instructed not to touch this particular exit ramp. I agree with the suggestion to move the straight through junction point a little closer to the Lane Cove Rd intersection. Happy to do that if you guys agree. I think it would work but would need some road renaming.
I think I might have been the one that gave you the instruction, I must have been under the impression that the keep left segment was giving the ‘keep Left’ instruction not ‘keep Right’
