The right turn into Toorak rd from the highlighted segment is not permitted (not sure if it’s all hours or just some…). I can’t fix it, as it’s locked at lvl 4…

That turn is restricted only during the peak times of 7am to 7pm Monday - Friday. So until Waze takes the new editor out of Beta, there’s not much I can do about fixing that one. (Any previous time restricted ones i’ve unfortunately been setting as ‘not identified’ with no way of telling the app user that Waze doesn’t support them yet.)
…and then still it has to be implemented in the client too. The “new” Turn-around restriction we have here already still is ignored by the client. But at least we could give a feedback to the user with the Beta (that’s a new feature too)

Soon is a flexible term with Waze… :roll:
But the Beta packs quite a lot in this matter, not only turn but also directions and not only time but also vehicle based. Guess you can spend lots of hours in the future on that subject. Some Beta-user showed me via a video chat
OK, I managed to get a beta access and entered the turn restriction as Luke stated:
Unfortunately the UR seems to be closed, for I could have informed the reporting Wazer about the situation.
So if you run into problems like that just get on me, I can help until beta is released.

So it shows up in the WME as a permitted turn now - doesn’t this mean we’ll just get more URs about a restricted turn here now? Or does the app know that it’s time-based? If not, shouldn’t we leave the turn as not permitted until time-based permissions are actually implemented? I don’t really understand the logic of leaving a permitted turn which is in fact not permitted most of the driving hours in the week…
Yep, because you set restrictions only (no time bases permissions). The question at hand is, what is the client doing with this info. Hard to test, for we still have the rollback and currently no update cycle (which also means, anything we do here for the moment is not reflected by the client anyway :().
But I’ll scan the experts forum on this, it might well be, that this is already working. The notification of UR-reporters (thats done by beta-editor > client) ist also working already. I come back on this, if I have an answer.

According to our community manager Amit the information goes live into the client at once, which is hard for us to tell with the rollback. So don’t be fooled by the appearance in the public editor - of course it has to be generally allowed to add a time based restriction.
But if you have the opportunity you might give it a test: before we startet to handle the UR the turn was allowed, so this should be his actual status in the client for we had no tile update since. If the “rumor” is true that the time based restrictions go into the system without a tiles update, it should already restrict the turn in the given time periode.

I have a feeling that this restriction is not working, for whatever reason. Wazers are still reporting map errors. It’s been in place for over a month now so I wouldn’t think that it’s a rollback issue.

Was just having a quick look at that UR and noticed there are quite a few No Right and No Left turns in that area.
If you’re able to have a look at these for me and fix accordingly, it would be appreciated.

I’ve had a look and those other signs on the approach to Toorak Rd while going north on Burke Rd are warning signs for another no right turn restriction on a side road. So you can turn right into these streets at any time from Burke.
I noticed that turning right from Park Road into Toorak Road is not allowed between 7am - 9am and 4pm - 6:30pm Monday to Friday. Can this please be added by a beta editor?
Unfortunately, due to what I presume was a failed attempt at a good faith editing session, the time based restriction is now gone even though I locked the segment at level 4, a level 3 editor was still somehow able to remove it. Can this please be fixed up, and for the time being all approaches to the intersection will be locked at 5 by me to prevent further damage. I have sent a PM to the editor in question to find out what their intentions were. Thanks.
