New Westminster, BC [Lvl 5] (Royal Ave)

The highlighted segment has an incorrect turn restriction. Traffic is permitted to turn from Coburg on to Royal Ave headed East.

Additionally, traffic is permitted to turn from Royal Ave (W) on to Granville Street (N). These segments are not locked to Level 5, but I think because the node is connected to a locked segment the restriction cannot be changed. Therefore this change will also require Level 5.

Actually, according to this: http://goo.gl/maps/99keC Coburg can NOT turn onto Royal, in either direction… has that barricade been removed?

And Royal to Granville has a time-based turn restriction (that I will add in the Beta editor, since we can do that there): http://goo.gl/maps/IOZIO

I should have written the time-based turn. I know those can be done in the beta editor. It was written in a rush and I forgot to type that.

Regardless, thanks for taking care of it on your end.

When will the beta editor be coming out of beta? Months? Weeks?

AFAIK, turns are allowed. However, the next time I go by that intersection I will confirm. Appreciate the double-check. We’ll leave this one as it is for now.

Waze gradually moves elements from the beta into production on a random, semi-regular basis.

TBTR seems to still be a bit buggy (not to mention, the routing engine doesn’t seem to respect the restrictions yet), so I suspect it will be a little while yet. :frowning:
