Hello all. I’m a marketing agency Local SEO that got their first request for a Waze edit. So the map on Waze appears to be lagging behind Google (or maybe they’re just completely separate systems, I honestly have no clue) and the roads within a new commercial development are yet to be added. Satellite view shows that it was obviously being developed at the time of the photos. Exposed dirt, well worn paths on the work site, mounds of dirt being moved, construction equipment, etc. I see that there’s some kind of restriction on level one editors so I can’t add anything to the map. Can someone please do a girl a favor and add these missing roads?
Roads according to Google and screenshot of satellite view both attached. It appears Waze is using pretty much the same satellite view. While I have not personally been to that location, I represent a business owner who’s in a new building that is very much open and functioning in the middle of the construction area seen in the satellite images. Development is complete or at least complete enough that multiple businesses are open and functioning with completed roads to them. Currently, Waze is taking drivers to an address on N 72nd, even though it correctly places their map pin in the middle of that development, likely because it’s the nearest defined road.
An address located right in the middle of the cluster of missing roads: 7320 N Classen Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73116
