I’m requesting an update to a map comment for the new NYOH Regional Cancer Center at 4 Crossgates Mall Road in Albany, NY.
The current map comment states that the center is expected to open in “Spring 2027.” This information is outdated. The NYOH Regional Cancer Center is scheduled to open in January 2027.
Could the map comment please be updated from “To open Spring 2027” to “To open January 2027”?
I work with New York Oncology Hematology and am helping prepare the location information ahead of the center’s opening.

Additionally, please let me know if there are any other steps we should take ahead of the January 2027 opening to ensure that patients searching for NYOH Regional Cancer Center in Waze will be directed to the correct location at 4 Crossgates Mall Road, Albany, NY 12203.

Hi lillypeck11! That’s just a note I left in there so no one made other changes to the map (since the aerial imagery is a bit out of date). I can change that date in the note.
As for other steps, just having the exact opening date will let me set a date for the parking lot closures to end, and we can add in any missing details about the place before it opens (website, phone number, etc.).

Great - we’ll get that search result setup closer to opening so no one tries to route there before it’s officially open (we could set it up in time for any staff training if you’d like).
Do you happen to know the situation with Gabriel Terrace at the moment (the road between NYOH and Costco)? I thought it was open, but I am not seeing any Waze users being routed onto it and we have reports it is closed.
