Please see the UR at this intersection. The intersection (an intersection of the province’s two major highways) has at-grade connectors at all four corners (sat map is accurate) but they’ve never been drawn into Waze per the guidance on the wiki. I’d like more experienced editors to review this: if it’s appropriate to add AGCs here please go ahead, otherwise please respond to and/or close the UR. Thanks!
Hi there. In this case the AGC guidance does not apply. These AGCs are long and start deep into the intersection. As such, directional instructions could be late. For me, my rule of thumb is if the AGC is about 100m or longer (from the start of the solid white to the end of the solid white) then we should probably add it.
I have lowered the locks here. Do you want to take a crack at adding these and adjusting the TRs accordingly in the intersection and report back?
Thanks

Thanks for the replies. I can handle adding the AGCs, but you lowered the segments to lv3 and I’m still in lv2.
Question while we’re here: the AGC guidance on the wiki suggests that the FC should be set to the lowest of the connected roads, but there are several around this area which are set to “ramp” instead. These should be corrected but are also above my level:
Bypass & Brackley Point Rd
Hillsborough Bridge (west)
Bunbury Rd to Hillsborough Bridge
North River Roundabout
And I’m not sure about these AGCs at the displaced left at the Bypass & St. Peter’s Highway.
Also, we should add an AGC from the Stratford Bypass e/b to Kinlock Rd here. I think the other AGCs at this intersection are short enough to omit.
I can do all of these, but it’ll be a lot of fiddling with lock levels and sending back new permalinks for pretty minor changes. You might as well just go ahead and make the changes.
Thanks
Ramps are supposed to be used when there is a significant change between the two segments…or something like that. There is no hard and fast rules except in the case of controlled-access highways. In the cases you pointed out here, I think I used ramps simply because they feel like ramps, more than an AGC (MH to mH, long, etc). Also, when there is a BGS that gives “ramp” info as in, to xxx the ramp makes sense. It really is a bit of a judgment call but there are certain things to look for when making the call.
@Ivanvector_yyz i hope you have read the response
