I am PRAYING you can fix the directions to my house!
I live on:
170 Lane Seven, Sturbridge, MA 01566
What happens in Waze is that when you put that address in, it leads to my neighbor’s house on 162 Lane 7, EAST BROOKFIELD, MA…UGH!!!
It skips the left turn onto Lane 7 to bring deliveries to my house. When people DO take the left turn, Waze tells them they are going to have to turn around, when they are actually going the right way.
Please see the attached picture, which shows the changes needed. The red line indicates the directions to my house.
I know it is confusing because when someone turns down to Lane 7 from New Boston Road, they have no idea that the road breaks off into one side, Sturbridge, Massachusetts, and the other side being East Brookfield, Massachusetts. Do you think you can fix this for me? I’m going crazy not getting my packages. I’m also in the process of trying to get Google maps to fix it, but it seems to take even longer I just want to be able to give people directions to my house without them getting lost. I’m EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED. :((((((

Thanks for the reply and details. I can see that one of my volunteer colleagues adjusted that house pin earlier this month. The street name we have on the map is Lane 7, Sturbridge so directions to homes with numbers of 168 and 171 are off the same “driveway” segment that was added.
Since this is a recent change, if you haven’t re-done a search for that address the Waze result will remain incorrect.
To fix routing, you will need to completely redo your search for that address because the Waze app does not automatically refresh your prior searches to the newly edited location. As you enter the address any “suggested / auto-populated” results might possibly be from alternate sources, so it’s not a Waze location, and could also be incorrect. Please completely type your target address in the text box and hit the search button. When you see the choices to the left are pins - some are open circles and some have a black dot in them. The latter are from Waze and should always be chosen. The open circle ones come from elsewhere and can be very wrong.
Also if you have saved them as “home” or “work”, you will need to delete that and re-save it to preserve the correct pin location.
The same applies to any friends/family who have been misrouted in the past - they need to re-do a search on their apps as well.
The green triangle with that is circled is the target address and is correctly placed on the Waze map as of July 9, 2025
I’m another of the volunteer editors. The two map issue reports you dropped in Waze were replied to with instructions, but you haven’t followed up on them. Has the problem been resolved? Thanks.
